The West Australian is reporting that J.K. Rowling will be interviewed by journalist Jennifer Bryne during a primetime special called J.K. Rowling: Life After Potter on September 27.
During the in-depth interview, the two will discuss the Harry Potter author’s new novel, as well as her past success. The interview will also give viewers the opportunity to learn more about J.K. Rowling’s creative process.
Katrina Sedgwick ABC TV head of arts, said of the interview, “This is J.K.’s first venture into the world of adult fiction and Jennifer will explore what new challenges she has faced in talking to this new audiences.”
Bryne is the host of an Australian television program called First Tuesday Book Club, where she and other panelists discuss books monthly in the form of a book club. Bryne is the only Australian journalist to be granted an interview with J.K. Rowling in promotion of her upcoming novel.
J.K. Rowling: Life After Potter will air on ABC1 at 8pm Australian time on September 27, the same day as The Casual Vacancy hits bookstores in Australia.
